Transcripts

Language learners know how important it is to listen to radio or television programs and movies. The problem is often making out what is actually said. Although you can get the gist of what has been said, sometimes words get lost in the blur of sounds. Transcriptions solve this problem.

Readers already appreciate the value of our series of real-life examples of spoken French with transcription of the audio, translation and linguistic commentary. Most people would agree that these tools enable users to clearly understand not only what is being said but why it is being said in a certain way.  We don’t see a better way of learning how to understand unscripted spoken French.

In addition to providing  longer recordings for free or a nominal fee, we will make transcriptions, translations and  commentaries available for sale.
